Hardwareproblem? Box startet nur bis u-boot.

Moin,

habe eben eine Box bekommen die sich ziemlich merkwürdig verhält.
Egal ob ich aus dem Flash oder aus dem Netz booten will. Nach dem Starten von u-boot fängt sie jedesmal von vorne an. Ich kann sie nicht dazu bewegen weiter zu booten.

Sieht nicht gut aus ... irgendwie siehts nach fehlerhafter CPU aus.

Meine "gesunde" Box meldet bis auf

Speichertest bitte:
beim Starten der DBox2 die Standby- und Pfeilnachoben-Taste gemeinsam drücken, dann die Standby-Taste loslassen und die Pfeilnachoben-Taste weiter gedrückt halten.

Wird bei irgendwas (Flashen, Booten aus dem Flash) das Logo am TV angezeigt?

Die Abbruchstellen lassen einen defekten MPEG-Dekoder vermuten.

Zumindest bei den Flashlogs stürzt die Box beim Anzeigen des FB-Logos ab - u-boot zeitg zwar "FB: ready" an, lädt das Logo aber auch erst am Ende der ganzen Statusausgaben.

Lösch mal die "logo-fb" aus dem Verzeichnis vom Bootmanager (oder umbenennen/verschieben) und versuch dann nochmal, damit zu flashen.

Bingo. Ohne logo-fb konnte ich flashen.
Jetzt hab ich mir ein Image gebaut ohne logo-fb. Damit bootet sie etwas weiter:

Ist also wohl der GTX defekt?

Ja, da hat der GTX/die GTX-Rams einen weg. Das mit dem MEPG-Dekoder (AVIA) oben war ein Denkfehler, die Logos werden ja in Software dekodiert und direkt in den Framebuffer geschrieben.

Denke das liegt an den verschiedenen Versionen von u-booT/ppcboot
