'Kein System', 'boot net failed'

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe folgendes GROSSES Problem:

meine Nokia DBox2 funktionierte bis gestern einwandfrei (habe auch bereits mehrere Images eingespielt). Ich hatte gestern versucht über die 'Experten-Funktion' das Image auszulesen (nach /tmp) was leider nicht funktioniert hat. Die Box blieb hängen. Ich habe danach ein Reset ausgeführt .... und dann begann das Leiden "kein System" steht seitdem auf dem Box-LCD. Ich habe mit einem 'nackten' W2k-Rechner (ohne Antiviren-Software, Firewall, ...) versucht ein neues Image aufzuspielen, was aber - egal mit welchem Image auch - nicht mehr funktioniert hat (früher war es nie ein Problem).

Habe auch schon versucht, den Boot-Prozeß zu unterbrechen (Pfeil nach oben Taste gedrückt gehalten) und mittels des boot-Befehls dann zu starten (=> boot net failed) - auch ohne Erfolg.

Den 'Media-Sensing'-Patch habe ich in die Reg eingespielt/eingetragen.

Weiss einer von Euch Rat?
Ich bin mit meinem Latein (und der Box) am Ende.

Laeuft irgendwo ein dhcpd-Server noch?

Z.B. auf einem Einwahl-Router?

Ja es läuft auf meinem Access-Point ein DHCP-Server, aber die Box ist über eine ganz normale LAN-Karte (nicht WLAN) mit dem Rechner über ein CAT5-Patch-Kabel verbunden. Innerhalb des Rechners sind 2 Netzwerkkarten installiert eine on Board (LAN) und eine PCI-WLAN-Karte.

Genau das ist das Problem gewesen. DHCP ausgeschaftet und flashing funktionierte - aber erst mit verzögertem Boot (Pfeil nach oben Taste nach Reset gedrückt gehalten) und danach 'boot net'. DANKE DANKE DANKE @ rasc für den 100% Tip - wäre ich nie 'drauf gekommen.

Hatte auch DHCP-Server am laufen gehabt - jetzt ausgeschaltet, hab schon 3 verschiedene Rechner ausprobiert, Crossover-Kabel funktioniert.
Kann es am Null-Modem Kabel liegen???

Bin schon am verzweifeln, kann weder neues Image auf meine Box aufspielen, noch eine andere Box in Debug Modus bringen...

Daran hab nicht gedacht :(Davor Antivir gehabt - ohne Probleme gearbeitet. Vor einem Monat Norton 2005 installiert

Leider nichts geholfen - Norton deinstalliert, Firewall oder VNP hatte ich nicht. Alles andere wie Mediasensing oder Netzwerkkarteneinstellungen hab ich schon gemacht.

Aktuelle Treiber von Realdreck installiert (nicht M$, direkt vom Hersteller)?

Seit dem letzten flashen hat sich aber nichts geändert, nur Norton installiert und WLAN. Hab jetzt NORTON entfernt und DSL-Modem direkt angeschlossen.

Meinst trotzdem versuchen mit neuem Treiber?

Lungern bestimmt noch Reste vom Norton rum oder $sonstwas blockiert das Netzwerk - die Möglichkeiten sind so vielfältig, daß mir sonst nix mehr einfällt.
