Habe folgende Konfiguration: Nen Eisfair server zum Streamen(NIC: 3com 905), der über nen Router (Siemens se515) mit der D-box verbunden ist.
Das Problem ist, dass der eingebaute 10/100 Switch im Router nicht so gut zu scheinen sein, da ich beim Abspielen von Streams hoher Bitrate (z.B.) Pro Sieben nur Ruckeln habe. An der Konfiguration liegts nicht (bei ner Direktverbindung über Crossover läufts einwandfrei).
Also scheint der Datendurchsatz durch den Siemens Router nicht so hoch zu sein. Bei nem Digitus Router habe ich da gleiche Problem nur nicht ganz so stark.
So jetzt will ich zwischen Box und Server nen anderen Switch hängen, damit es besser funktioniert. Welchen könnt ihr denn da empfehlen, welchen nutzt ihr ohne Probleme?

Muss mir eh nen vernünftigen switch anschaffen, da der Switch im Router fürn Ar*** ist. Außerdem hat die D-box dann keinen Internetanschluss.
Habe das aber auch schon probiert. Habe aber Probleme mit ner zweiten Netzwerkkarte im Eisfair, da ich diese nur anspreche wenn ich eine Ip für diese angebe, die sich im zweiten Wert von der ersten unterscheidet. z.B 192.168.0.20 für die erste und 192.168.1.21 für die zweite. Wenn ich z.B der zweiten die Ip 192.168.0.21 gebe kann ich sie nicht einmal anpingen . Warum? was mach ich falsch?habed leider nicht soviel Ahnung von Netzwerken....

Das ist eine Frage des Subnetzes. Wenn du als SubNetMask die 255.255.255.0 angibst sind dbox und rechner dann in verschiedenen Subnetzen.
Maskier mit einem Klasse B-Netz mittels der 255.255.0.0 oder 192.168.0.0/16.
Des weiteren sollte dein Eisfair mittels DSL-Package mit Routingfunktionen ausgerüstet sein-dann kommt deine Box auch weiter ins Internet..

..ich habe einige billige Office-Switches getestet Netgear/3-Com/Allied Telesys/Noname Gigabit und einen D-Link 'DES 1005D' das war einer der preiswertesten und auch der Beste! Den gibts fuer <30 Euronen.switchproblem hat geschrieben: Trotzdem wärs nett wenn mal einer schreiben könnte was n guter switch ist..

Ja das mit den Subnetzen wollte ich schon probieren. Der Router akzeptiert aber nur n class C netz (255.255.255.0).

Beim Punkt IP_ETH_N='2' bin ichmir nicht sicher ob 1 oder 2, hab aber beides Probiert. Warum kann ich in der oben genannten Kofiguration ide zweite Karte nicht anpingen???

Beim Punkt IP_ETH_N='2' bin ichmir nicht sicher ob 1 oder 2, hab aber beides Probiert. Warum kann ich in der oben genannten Kofiguration ide zweite Karte nicht anpingen???

Du kannst die beiden Netzwerkkarten nicht im selben Klasse C Netz fahren. Wenn du es versuchst weiß der EIS ja nie über welche der beiden Netzwerkkarten er den gesuchten Rechner oder auch sein Gateway erreichen kann. Wenn du in deinem Router kein Klasse B Netz maskieren kannst kannst du ja auch 2 Klasse C Netze fahren.

Zusätzlich musst du dann natürlich noch Routingfunktionen auf dem EIS haben, wenn du die D-Box auch von deinem PC aus erreichen willst.
