Bought it from eBay and I've put it in debug mode. Unfortunately, no matter what image is on, it constantly reboots after some time. Time varies between some minutes and sometimes a few hours. I have put the Beta Research sw back on it, but the reboots continue to happen. There is obviously something wrong with the hardware, but I have no idea what to look for.
Thx in advance for any advise!

it's a private person who answered me: "it always worked perfect ..."rmaerte1 hat geschrieben:Please aks your dealer at ebay
in other words no chance to return it, a typical case of bad luck

Btw, I noticed that short before it reboots it often shows a colorbar pattern (red, yellow, green, etc. vertical bars) for a short time or the colors change to greyscales. Also the audiovolume can not be adjusted ca 30 seconds before it reboots.
Could it be a faulty chip (CXA?) which does the audio & video stuff for the scarts?

I have to come back on this issue since this may be a solution for others who have similar problems with their Dbox2 (frequent reboots, green coloured or flashing screen, etc)
Some days ago I flashed BN2.01 and disabled debug mode. Since I did that all problems are gone and it works perfectly the last couple of days.
It may be a coincidence, but it is certainly worth a try!
