dhcpd in SuSE 9.0 broken

dhcpd in SuSE 9.0 scheint nicht mit dem dbox zu funktionieren. Abhilfe: dhcp-3.0pl2.tar.gz von isc.org runterladen, kompilieren, installieren.

unter suse 9.1 hat folgende einstellung in der /etc/sysconfig/dhcpd das problem gelöst:

## Type: string
## Default: ""
## ServiceRestart: dhcpd
#
# You may specify another dhcpd binary to be run.
#
# This can be employed to use /usr/sbin/dhcpd.lpf, a dhcpd binary that is
# compiled with the Linux packet filter API instead of BSD sockets.

DHCPD_BINARY="/usr/sbin/dhcpd.lpf"

alternativ können auch entsprechende firewall-regeln gesetzt werden, hatte bloss noch keine zeit, mich drum zu kümmern. falls einer welche hat, darf er sich gerne melden...

In SuSE 10.0 funktioniert dhcpd dagegen direkt. Eine Änderung ist dass eine Zeile wie

nextserver=192.168.1.1
