Nokia D-Box2 mit 2xIntel und BN 1.0

Hallo, ich habe von einem Bekannten eine Box mit der Originalsoftware bekommen und wollte diese mit Linux bespielen. Doch beim Einschalten der Box stand im Display "Beta Research" und darunter sind 5 Balken zu sehen, als wenn der Schreibschutz schon deaktiviert ist. Ich habe die Box eine halbe Stunde am Netz gelassen, doch die Balken haben sich nicht verändert, sie gehen ganz kurz weg und kommen wieder. Wenn ich die Starttaste und Pfeil nach oben drücke erscheint die Zahlenfolge auf dem Display und ohne, das ich etwas gemacht habe, die 5 Balken.

Kennt jemand das Problem und kann mir helfen??????

Der Start von Betanova kann durchaus eine Weile dauern. Ich hab da seinerzeit mal die ersten 20 Minuten eines Filmes verpaßt, obwohl ich die Box fünf Minuten vor Filmbeginn gestartet hatte.

Achso, das Antennenkabel würde ich auch anschließen.

Die Box startet also mit Betanova und gibt auch ein Bild aus. Habe ich das richtig verstanden?

Dann ist vielleicht an der Box die Lautstärke runtergeregelt.

nein, auf den AV-Kanal habe ich nur das normale Fernsehbild nur kein Ton. Schalte ich dann auf einen normalen Kanal um ist auch der Ton wieder da. Das Display zeigt immernoch die 5 Balken an, die ausgehen und wiederkommen.

Also das Fernsehbild, das von der Glotze empfangen wird und nicht von der D-Box.

Dann ist da wohl was kaputt. Da muß dir jetzt jemand anderes weiterhelfen.

Ich habe jetzt die Box an meinen Rechner gehängt. Im Boot-Manager
sieht so aus:

Die Nummer im Display hat sich auch verändert. Hatte nach dem a die 1 vergessen.

die speichererweiterung zeigt sich in "161608"
--->16MB onboard, 16 MB Erweiterung, 8MB flash
und da stand vorhin 1600xx---> hätte dementsprechend Erweiterung gefehlt bzw. kaputt

Hat nichts mit dem Debug-Versuch ohne Speicher zu tun.

Wo bekommt man einen Speicher?

Hallo,

also habe ich jetzt Dbox2 Nokia von "Kdschmie" auf dem Tisch.

Gleich aufgefallen, CPU wurde schon mal ausgetauscht !!!

Der Dbox2 war noch mit Original Betanova, wenn er Strom krieg waren wie oben beschrieben, nur 5 Balken mit Betanova Logo und immer wieder 5 Balken. War so als ob er immer wieder neue startete.
In dem Zustand war nicht möglich in Debug- Modus den versetzen, keine verbindung zu Box.

Habe ich dann:

1. Flash 2xIntel rausgelötet, ausgelesen und mit neue mit Bootloader schon in Debug beschrieben. Wieder eingelötet. Und der Dbox2 hat gestartet. Also Dbox2 geht wieder, Flashen klappt zu 100%, Arbeutsspeicher Test ist auch ok.

Problem: Wenn Dbox2 schon fast hochgefahren hat, fährt wieder runter

Habe folgende Teile umgetauscht:

1. SEC Chip und seine RAMs - Ergebniss: die waren ok
2. AVIA500 - Ergebniss: war auch ok

Arbeitspeicher intern oder externe Erweiterung denke mir mal nicht, sonst Dbox2 hätte gleich gemekkert oder ? AVIA GTX auch nicht ? Frontprozessor ?

Frage zu Yadi Release vom 17.03.2007 Image.

Wenn ich diese Image geflasht habe, dann neue starte, ohne Ucodes und Alpha, immer auf ok drücke, ist dann normal dass Dbox2 wieder runterfahrt ?

Hier segfaulted neutrino, drum fährt die Kiste wieder runter.
Der segfault kann verschiedene Ursachen haben, unter anderem:
- Programmfehler / Programmierfehler im Flash -> neu flashen mit anderem image
- RAM defekt

Du solltest auf der seriellen Konsole erstmal während des bootens, während Neutrino noch startet Enter drücken können und dann ganz schnell "killall start_neutrino" oder "touch /tmp/.nohalt"eingeben. Dann fährt sie zumindest nicht gleich wieder runter und du kannst das Problem untersuchen.

1. Programmfehler / Programmierfehler im Flash -> neu flashen mit anderem image

Schliesse ich aus , habe mehrmals neue geflasht und flashvorgang zu 100% in Ordnung, wie gewöhnlich .

2 . Ich tendiere zu Hardware-Problem, zB RAM, werde demnächst umbauen auf 32 MB und wenn Problemm sich wiederholt wie oben beschrieben vorgehen.

hallo,
ich hatte fast das gleiche Problem.
Nokia 2xi mit bmon 1.0 und Speichererweiterung.
Sobald ich den Bootvorgang angehalten habe, konnte ich etwas ins Comterminal schreiben.
Als das ppc gestartet wurde, dann bootete sie weiter hoch mit betanova.
Flash ausgelötet und neubeschrieben.

Der Debug war jetzt da,aber ich konnte sie nicht mit einem Images flashen

Mit hallenberger gings dann, alles hat dann gefunkt.

Vor 2 Monate hatte ich eine sagem Box, images geflasht, hochgefahren, sie hing dann beim Kernel,
