Die Abstimmung des Mittwochs der Erarbeitung nur für die Montage eines Dämonex sehr nicht produktiv.

Would anybody help me and make pppd for current version.
Just now I have not development system to build pppd someself.
As far as I know, I need a module (to link with kernel) and pppd to start peer to peer connection through mobile phone.

Getting ppp to work on the Tuxbos is just like any other Linux system. "In principle" not awfully hard. The problem is that you want someone to do it

There are PowerPC-compiled Linux-Binaries around (RedHat or Mandrake or ... ?) For the serial ports: if you do not need the normal one, just connect to the DB-9 connector (serial device is /dev/tts0 (inbount) and /dev/cua/0 (outbound)). Otherwise, thow out the internal modem, and use serial port /dev/ttys/1 and /dev/cua/1.

I cannot find precompilied binaries for kernel 2.4.29(31)
I try ver for 2.6 - it replay segmentation fault
So there are two answers - no right modules or wrong version

I am not worry about configuration process, I did it many times on the PC-s. So I have init string for my mobile modem and start/stop scripts.
They are works good.

I am not rememeber just now- have I to check during compiling the kernel some special for pppd?
Or it enough with the serial&tcp in kernel and right pppd version.

The only trouble what I can predict is the version of libc what use you during compiling the kerenel.

Just now I have kernel ver 2.4.27.
I am going to change the whole flash image to Sportser Pro,
so as I know it will be 2.4.31.
But I will agree with any version if you give flashimage and coordinated
pppd

There is another reason why this is a bad choice. First, what ingredients these guys put into their soup no-one knows, except for themselves. Secondly, "except for the ilegal stuff", they do not offer any additional sensible functionallity. They copy/steal from us. THIS is the source.
