CDK compiling problem due to automake problems

Hallo,,
grad wollte ich mal aus Spass ein Image bauen da stolpere ich über dieses Problem mit automake.
1. automake version im $HOME

BTW: Ich benutze gentoo und habe automake frisch compiliert.

export WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.8 könnte helfen.

Aber was/wo ist das eigendliche Problem?

Das Problem dürfte irgendwo im automake-wrapper Script liegen, welches die benötigte Version versucht zu erkennen (ich nutze selber kein gentoo, daher nur eine Vermutung).

habe denselben Fehler wie oben beschrieben.
bekomme aber trotz export WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.8 immer wieder denselben Fehler. Was ist das Problem, wie kann ich das lösen?

Wäre schön, wenn das ein bißchen ausführlicher beschrieben werden kann, da ich ein ziemlicher Newby bin.

Leider bin ich nicht sooo fit, was Linux angeht. Ich arbeite mit SUSE 9.1.

Wenn ich jetzt make all ausführe, erstellt er mir dann ein Image, oder bereitet er mir nur eins soweit vor, dass ichs erstellen kann?

Dauert das immer ca. 2 h oder ist das prozessorabhängig?

1.) Was er wie macht hängt von den configure Parametern ab. Siehe ~/tuxbox-cvs/cdk/doc/
2.) 38h auf i386/25; 12min auf P6/9.33GHz

Was bedeutet dieser Fehler? Wieso tritt er auf, wie kann ich ihn beheben?

Aber, bei mir (hab auch gentoo) hat es auch geklappt.

Nur export WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.8 und schau mal an.

automake wrapper @ gentoo is a PIA, really ;(
place 2 on my nerdlist.
place 1 still holds this webapp utility.

however - do "emerge system" and install the rest manually, this gives you a nice and stable system.

Haven't had any trouble with the autotools yet and I've written some stuff using it (PC-related).

CDK works fine, too.

In fact I wouldn't know why I should install it manually.

ja, siehe auch vorigen thread. war gestern etwas daneben. warum hab ich das eigentlich in englisch geposted, hehe. naja togal.
nee, die autotools bei gentoo sucken. dieser wrapper, au mann! klar kannst du alles moegliche emergen, oder auch eigene dinge compilen, nema problema madame! aber versuche mal KDE zu compilen, oder teile davon (k3b zum bleistift) - das ist grausam. dann bist du nur noch mit den exports dran, want_automake, autoconf und header. das ist doch banane. also setzt du alles auf die aktuelle version der jeweiligen 3 tools, und laesst den wrapper wech. dann laufen aber aeltere programme nicht mehr (sprich: lassen sich nicht mehr emergen) weil es da heisst:" has been compiled with a different version of autoconf".
naja, IMHO suckt das. sofern du keine KDE applikationen compilest, merkst du es nicht.

Habe ich wahrscheinlich einfach nur Glück gehabt, kann natürlich auch sein.

missverstaendnis.. ich meinte, wenn du das KDE selbst compilst. also das CVS des KDE von kde.org.
