DBox2 display ???

Hello .. I have a problem with LCD display !
Light is not bright anymore ... I cant see wat is on display anymore ...

Should i try to fix or to look for new one ....

There is a light but is not bright anough ....

If you have an another display choose this to test function of the controlling the display. I dont now any other way!
But in most cases the display is relay dead.

Well, i apriciate your answer, but i dont have another display to test

Display working good, nd there IS a light, but i so LOW .. seems like some part is about to die

Hmm you can use an voltmeter?

On the backside of the display on platine are two points marked with "K" and "A". Between this two points ou should have 23V. If you dont have this then check there this voltage has lose. The same voltage of 23V you should have on the Pin16 and Pin16-Pin20 from the cable. If the voltage here even faild so look and search in the Poweblock!

OK ... I check voltage on A and K points and there is 19.6 V ... Same on flat cable on pins 16 and 20 ...

But, when i disconect display from motherboard, and check voltage on flat cable connector on motherboard, there IS 23 V on volmetar on points 16 and 20 ... Maybe is there some problem on flat cable .. Recently i changer flat cable, because connector was jamed ...

The 19V should be no Problem. In the moment i have no Nokia to check this!! Is there something too change with the poti near the transistor?

yes, there is pot ... i try to change value (left - right) but nothings happen ...
